Nick Moore is a firm believer in second chances.
Moore studied journalism and photography in school with an emphasis on photojournalism. After graduating from Bowling Green State University in the 1970s, he worked as a reporter and editor on a weekly newspaper where he learned the newspaper business at the grassroots level.
Moore was hired as a photographer by a local newspaper and spent the next 20-years working in photojournalism, freelancing for magazines, shooting weddings and pursuing personal projects on the side.
In the mid-1990s he took the opportunity to make a career change into web development, where he was able to put his experience with the newspaper business to good use by specializing in website development for newspapers. Although he worked in web development for many years, he never forgot his first love, photography.
“I bought my first digital camera in 2007 and was absolutely amazed at the possibilities digital photography opened up. I spent so many years battling the limitations of film. When I discovered digital photography, I rediscovered the joy of photography. “
When he retired from web development several years ago Moore took the opportunity to dive headlong into learning digital photography and getting back into the business of creating images. His specialties include landscapes, nature, event and lifestyle photography.
Welcome to Nick’s second chance…
